Lisa Corrao is a New York–born, South Florida–based comedian and actor who traded in her middle-school classroom for the stage—and never looked back. Once a science teacher trying to make sixth graders laugh, Lisa realized the comedy club was her true home. Her quirky observations, fearless honesty, and friendly disposition have earned her a warm place with comedy audiences worldwide.
She began her comedy career performing stand-up on Nick@Nite and went on to appear on Nickelodeon’s Every Witch Way as “Ramona the Witch.” She later became a featured performer in Comedy Central’s South Beach Comedy Festival and now headlines top comedy clubs across the country. Lisa has also toured internationally for U.S. troops, performing on military bases around the world, and has even toured with legends like Patton Oswalt and the late, iconic Gilbert Gottfried.
Lisa’s comedy is equal parts clever and candid—blending stories from her unconventional path with her love of pop culture, dark humor, and a touch of nerdy charm. Whether on stage, on screen, or at comic cons, she connects with audiences through her messy vulnerability and undeniable warmth.
When she’s not touring, Lisa co-hosts the Safe Space podcast alongside voice actor Dana Snyder (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) and writer Dino Stamatopoulos (Community, Moral Orel). Be sure to catch her hilarious cooking show, Lisa Loves Food, where she teaches you to cook—and laugh. Most importantly, keep an eye out for Lisa’s debut comedy special, A Cute Crisis, premiering on Amazon Prime and Apple TV this Valentine’s Day!

That thing you've been waiting to do. It's time.
